The Coming Storm

'For Zion's sake I will not be silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest' President Ahmadinejad of Iran has announced that Israel must be 'wiped of of the map' He has called the Jews 'the embodiment of evil' and to make matters worse, he is building nuclear weapons. He has already funded Hizbullah and through them started a war with Israel. What is Israel waiting for? It's 1939 all over again and the world is still hesistating.

In 1939, we had to wait until the enemy (Hitler) used massive force (attacked Poland) before the endangered world woke up.

Again, we will have to wait until an attack that cannot be ignored before anything is done. Israel cannot afford to absorb a nuclear strike. Whether the rest of the endangered world would act in that case is questionable. After all, it's only Jews that are killed.

A preemptive measure is the only answer.

The question is, which will come first?

Is our (Israel and the nation's) intelligence up to letting us know when a preemptive strike is necessary?

Probably not.

In 1939, Poles had to take the hit that set the anti-Axis forces on the move.

The latter, ill prepared, if you peruse history, and it was touch-and-go for too long.

It took Pearl Harbor to get the US doing what it should have done in 1939. This time, a strike at the US homeland, elicited a mixed response. Destroying the Taliban training camps was correct. The next move should have been to take out the states that sponsored the hit (and those blows that preceded it from 1979 on).

Different times, a different breed at the helm of the nations facing Islam. There are no war leaders. (As for Israel, I don't even want to get started there.)

The longer we wait, the more on our side will die.
