The Spiritual Holocaust

(Hat tip to Yehudi01)

Stronger nations have come and gone but the Jews are still here. What is really threatenning, however, is the spiritual holocaust of assimilation and intermarriage. In the past 10 years, over 2 million Jews have been lost, and nobody raises a peep.

Tonight, on the 6th night of Chanukkah, it is time to redefeat Hellenism and recommit to Hashem's Torah.

I guess this answers my question, BK... but I did tell you that I know better and would never, never want a Jewish man and compromise his devotion to Torah and G-d! You know that I am a product of Jewish/Gentile intermarriage, so I understand and respect the lines of delineation between Jew and Gentile and don't advocate intermarriage, myself!

Thank you for posting this... I totally agree! I desire to see the Jewish people be blessed... it breaks my heart to see the secular Jew throw his/her precious birthright to the wind!

1 A Psalm of David. HaShem, who shall sojourn in Thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell upon Thy holy mountain?
2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh truth in his heart;
3 That hath no slander upon his tongue, nor doeth evil to his fellow, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour;
4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised, but he honoureth them that fear HaShem; he that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not;
5 He that putteth not out his money on interest, nor taketh a bribe against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

G-d bless you!

If the word Germany was substituted for Israel and Jew for Arab in your response then it would sound almost identical to Nazi propoganda in their early years in power

BK, you should just eject this tool.

You can't reason with an Islamist, a dhimmi, or anyone infected by leftist lunacy.

Young Activist: You've been seriously duped. Your comments reveal a real lack of knowledge and an intense ignorance of Israel and Jewish history.

The Jews had 2 independent kingdoms in Israel, under the Davidic Dynasty (10th century BCE until 586 BCE) and later the Hasmonean (until 70 CE). Despite being violently expelled by the Romans, archeology has shown that the Jews maintained a constant presence in Israel while the exiled masses prayer 3 times a day to return. (My grandfather's family has been in Israel for over 500 years, since the Expulsion form Spain).

"Palestine" on the other hand is an entirely made up entity. After the Romans expelled the Jews, they renamed the land Palastinae for Israle's Biblical enemies the Philistine, in an attempt to destroy the Jewish connection to Israel. In the 6th century, the Arabs swept through the Mid-East and conquered it. ("Palestine" isn't even an Arabic word- there's no 'p' sound in Arabic!) There was never an independent Arab country called Palestine and Jerusalem was never the capital of any Arab nation. In fact, there was no "Palestinian" people until after 1967!

Britain had no right to give anyone anyone else's country. That's why the Arab states of Jordan and the partition plan are/were illegitimate. Israel belongs to the Jews, the only people who had two independent nations there and whose entire religion is based on that land. The Arabs swept into the land 1500 years ago and are squatters with no connection to the land. Jerusalem is mentionned over 700 times in the Bible but 0 times in the Qur'an!

This has absolutely no parallel in Nazi propaganda and that claim is merely an attempt to deflect attention from the facts, which you brazenly (or ignorantly) ignore.

The majority of our nation has been in exile for 2000 years and we thank the Arabs for keeping our house warm for us (not that they did a very good job of it. The country was a desert and swamp infested with malaria until the Jews made the it bloom). Now that we've returned, we're happy to take it off their hands.

Please come back so that you can educate yourself about Israel and Jewish history. For some reading, I reccommend Myths and Facts: A Guide to the Arab-Israel Conflict,

You’ve got me on Jewish history, I do not know much there, but I don’t think an understanding of Jewish history is necessary to understand the situation in Israel/Palestine today beyond an intellectual perspective.

Jews were certainly not the first people to inhabit the area currently encompassed by Israel, so if you are operating on the premise that they have a right to the land because they were there first then I think your argument is flawed. However, even if the Jews were the first people to inhabit the holy land that doesn’t give them a right to kick off the current inhabitants, their claim is thousands of years old, and I don’t think something rooted that far in the past is justification for the expulsion of the Palestinians. After all most of the world is not inhabited by its indigenous population. Would you suggest that whites don’t have a right to live in America, or Canada, or New Zealand on the basis that the indigenous population is of a different race?

I find the idea that Israel must be a racially/religiously pure society just as abhorable as the Nazi’s plan for Germany and even worse then the apartheid government of South Africa. Nelson Mandela has called the Palestinians his brothers in arms in a common struggle against racism.

I am going to be away from the computer for a week or so, but when I get back I will take a look at the site you have recommended.

For all we disagree on I agree with you absolutely on the need for an open discussion. It is a sad thing that your friends seem to be afraid of discussion. Discussion is a healthy part of the political process and necessary for anyone who wants to have a mature opinion.

What do you make of rumors that Galid Shalit may be exchange for Marwan Barghouti? Either one of these men being freed would be an extremely positive development and both together as part of a deal would be even better.
