Anti-Zionism = Anti-Semitism

"I love Jews. Some of my best friends are Jewish. I watch Seinfeld and listen to Barbara Streisand. I eat bagels and matzah balls. I'm not an anti-semite, I'm just an anti-Zionist."
No, I'm sorry but that's not the way that things work. Why would someone support the right of self-determination and self-rule for every other people but deny the Jews that right? Is there anyone who would say that he loves Italians, eats spaghetti and meat balls but he believes that Italy should be destroyed and that Italians have no right to a state of their own? Would they have the chutzpah to claim that they are not anti-Italian bigots?
Judaism, unlike Christianity, is based on the concept of peoplehood and nationhood. Judaism's central components are the People of Israel, the Land of Israel and the Torah of Israel. Without love and respect for any of these, Judaism is incomplete. Jews are entitled to their own nation and their own state. They deserve self-determination and independence. To believe otherwise is simply anti-semitism. If you believe that Jews have no right to autonomy and independece, don't deny your anti-semitism. Remember: Anti-Zionism = Anti-semitism

Updates from Wackistan

Reuters reports:
TEHRAN, Iran - Iranian police have warned barbers against offering Western-style hair cuts or plucking the eyebrows of their male customers, Iranian media said on Sunday.

The report by a reformist daily, later confirmed by an Iranian news agency, appeared to be another sign of the authorities cracking down on clothing and other fashion deemed to be against Islamic values.

"Western hair styles ... have been banned," the newspaper Etemad said in a frontpage headline.

It came a week after police launched a crackdown against the growing numbers of young women testing the limits of the law with shorter, brighter and skimpier clothing ahead of the summer months.

Annex and Transfer

On Yom Haatzmaut, Hamas fired more rockets into Israel. Thank G-d that no one was hurt or injured and that there was no dammage.
From Arutz-7 news: Col. (ret.) Moti Yogev says that Israel must re-capture northern Gaza and the Philadelphi Route in southern Gaza. Writing today in the Yisraeli daily, Yogev says this is the minimum required for the protection of Israel's citizens in the south and around Gaza.

"We abandoned the Philadelphi Route as part of the Disengagement," Yogev writes, "which was an illusion devoid of any realistic thinking or evaluation; we discarded the border between Gaza and Egypt not based on intelligence, but based on fantasies... We must hold, forever, the area from northern Gaza to what was the Netzarim Junction - the area from which Kassams are fired at the western Negev and Ashkelon. We must, as quickly as possible, comb the entire area and destroy or collect all the weapons."

Why does Israel tolerate this pseudo-nation of murderers raised in a European funded death-cult? When Israel conquered the Golan Heights, it promptly declared it part of Israel proper and expelled 10 000 Syrian inhabitants. It's time to retake Gaza, annex it and to expel its inhabitants to Egypt. Would the US remain indifferent if the illegal Mexican population of California declared war against the rest of the country and started firing rockets of San Francisco? Remember the Talmudic adage that he who is merciful to the cruel will end up being cruel to the merciful. Those are some smart rabbis...

Return to Homesh

In honour of Independence Day, an estimated 30 000 people marched to the destroyed Jewish city of Homesh, whose inhabitants were expelled in 2005 during the "Disengagement". At the head of the main organized group of marchers, which set off at 11:00 am from a nearby town, was Nobel Prize Laureate Professor Yisrael Aumann. The world-renowned professor of game theory stated in recent days that he sees a return to Homesh as "signaling the imperative change of direction the state needs. The march to Homesh expresses very well the aspiration to be a free people in our land." Prof. Aumann addressed the gathered activists, as did the Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Arba, Rabbi Dov Lior.

The expelled inhabitants of Homesh should return, as well as all the Gaza inhabitants, such as those of the towns of Gush Katif and Neve Dekalim. The Israeli government should make settling the Land of Israel its number one priority. As soon as the Arabs know that the Jews are here to stay, they will abandon hope and simply give up.

These Dry Bones Shall Live Again

The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?"
I said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know."
Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath [a] enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.' "

So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.' " So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.' Therefore prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD.' "

These Dry Bones are the Whole House of Israel. Hashem has not forgotten us. He has returned (most) of our exiles from places such as Europe Russia, Poland, Morrocco, Iraq, Northern Africa, even Ethiopia and India!

Happy Birthday Israel!

Today is Yom Haaztamut- the 59th year of the Independence of the State of Israel. Amidst all of the celebrations, fireworks and barbeques, we should all find some time to thank Hashem for the great miracles that He wrought for us. After 2000 years of brutal exile, oppression, progroms, inquisitions, Crusades, Jihads and Holocausts, Hashem decided to return us to our Holy Land in order to fulfill His promise:
"Hashem, your God, will change your lot; and taking pity on you, He will again gather you from all the nations wherein he has scattered you.

Though you may have been driven to the farthest corner of the world, even from there will Hashem, your God, gather you; even from there will he bring you back.

Hashem, your God, will then bring you into the land which your fathers once occupied, that you too may occupy it, and he will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers."

Raise up your flags in pride as you remember the gift of being born a free Jew, in a independent State. We should remember that millions of Jews have dies wishing that they would have had such a merit and that we should not surrender our freedom lightly. Thank You Hashem for all of your infinite mercies and kindnesses and mey we all merit the Complete Redemption, Speedily in Our Days, Amen.

Moral Equivalency?

No equivalency here!

O that Damn Cycle of Violence!

The other day, a young girl, Melissa Stevens, walked home at night from a party at a friend's. Melissa, being tired, decided to take a shortcut through a dark alleyway. On her way home, she was attacked by a masked man and held down. Fearing assault and rape, Melissa, being a blackbelt in karate, kicked the man in the groin and broke his arm. She quickly fled home.
The next day, she was met by the attacker's lawyer, suing for bodily assault. In court, Melissa pleaded self-defense. The judge, however, disagreed. He claimed that violence beget violence and that Melissa should serve time for the pain that she had caused her attacker.
_____________________________________________________________________________________

By this time, you should all be shaking your heads in amusement. Clearly, this is absolutely insane. What logical person would claim that a rapist trying to violate his victim and the victim's right to self-defense are equivalent? Pretty self-evident, no? Actually, it isn't- at least for some. Many people seem to believe that the problem in the Mid-East is the 'cycle of violence'. Israeli aggression is met by Palestinian "resistance" which is returned with an act of Israeli retaliation. Yep, the endless cycle of violence. But, before you nod in agreement, ask yourself, where did this cycle begin? Which side is motivated by a desire to murder? Which side recently reiterated its commitment to genocide on live TV? Certainly not Israel. In a recent sermon on PA TV, Hamas spokesman Dr. Ismail Radwan reiterated Hamas’s classic ideology that:

* The Hour – the Islamic resurrection and end of days – is dependent on the killing of Jews by Muslims.
* The remaining Jews will unsuccessfully attempt to hide, but the rocks and trees will expose them, calling out "there is a Jew behind me, kill him!"
* "Palestine… will be liberated through the rifle," meaning that Israel will be destroyed through violence.

The Hamas spokesman ended his sermon with a prayer to Allah to "take" Israel and the USA.
Think. If all of the Arab soldiers would put down their arms for a month, even a year, what would Israel do? Israeli soldiers would immediately return to their homes, put down their arms, and move on with their lives. Now, if G-d forbid, Israel would lay down its weapons for a months, even for a day, would the same happen with the Arabs? No sooner would Israel disarm that the Arab hordes would sweep through Israel, killing every man woman and child. The brutality of it would make the Holocaust look like a pillow fight.
The Cycle of Violence is a PC anti-semitic myth. Israel wants nothing more than peace with its neighbours. Israel's declaration of Independence states:

WE APPEAL - in the very midst of the onslaught launched against us now for months - to the Arab inhabitants of the State of Israel to preserve peace and participate in the upbuilding of the State on the basis of full and equal citizenship and due representation in all its provisional and permanent institutions.

WE EXTEND our hand to all neighbouring states and their peoples in an offer of peace and good neighbourliness, and appeal to them to establish bonds of cooperation and mutual help with the sovereign Jewish people settled in its own land. The State of Israel is prepared to do its share in a common effort for the advancement of the entire Middle East.

Before you condemn Israel for its aggression, remember that you are denying Israel the right of self-defense that you so enthousiastically support for its enemies.

Yom Hazikaron- Remeberance Day for the Fallen Heros of the IDF and Victims of Terror

Sunday night is Yom Hazikaron and we all remember and grieve for the loss of many thousands of killed Israeli soldiers and victims of terror. We cannot possibly begin to comprehend the totality of all the lives lost so I would like us to pay homage to one soldier in particular. He represents all of the fallen IDF heroes.
Major Roi Klein was a Golani brigade deputy commander. He was killed this summer in the battle for Bint Jbail in Lebanon. He, along with 2 other soldiers, had cleared and secured a house when a Hizbullah murderer terrorist threw a grenade in through the window. Roi, knowing that if the grenade exploded, his comrades would be killed, jumped on it. With his last breath, Roi shouted: "Shema Yisrael- Hear O Israel, the Lord is our G-d, the Lord is One" and with that ancient prayer that so many Jewish martyrs throughout the generations called out as they were being led to their deaths, his holy soul returned to its Maker. He died on the Sanctification of the Name and was added to the list of Jewish martyrs throughout the ages who were sacrificed for G-d's Glory.

O G-d, full of mercy, Who dwells on high,
grant proper rest on the wings of the Divine Presence -
in the lofty levels of the holy and the pure ones,
who shine like the glow of the firmament -
for the souls of the martyrs of the Israel Defense Force,
who gave up their lives
for the Sanctification of the Name
and the Conquest of the Land,
because, the entire Nation of Israel mourns for them.
May their resting place be in the Garden of Eden -
therefore may the Master of Mercy
shelter them in the shelter of His wings for Eternity;
and may He bind their souls in the Bond of Life.
Hashem is their heritage,
and may they repose in peace on their resting place.

Now let us respond: Amen.

Thirty Three Murders

This article is copied from Chabad.org:

Thirtee Three Murders

By Yanki Tauber

G‑d was murdered yesterday. Thirty-three times over.

No, this isn't my hyperbolic way of venting my sadness and rage. It's what the sages of the Talmud said more than two thousand years ago.

They pointed out that the Ten Commandments were inscribed by G‑d on two stone tablets, forming a correlation between one set of five commandments inscribed on the first tablet and the second set inscribed on the second tablet. Thus the first commandment, "I am the L-rd your G‑d" corresponds to the sixth commandment, "You shall not murder."

How so? Our sages offered the following parable: "A king entered a country and put up portraits of himself, and made statues of himself, and minted coins with his image. After a while, the people of the country desecrated his portraits, smashed his statues and defaced his coins, thereby reducing the image of the king. So, too, one who sheds blood reduces the image of the King, as it is written (Genesis 9:6): 'One who spills a man's blood... for in the image of G‑d He made man.'"

Murdering a human being is banishing G-d from our worldThere are those who would say that the problem with our murderous world today is that there's not enough religion. Others would posit that the problem is that there's too much religion. But this is not about religion--it's about G‑d.

G‑d attests that He created man in his image. The deeper meaning of this statement is the subject of much commentary and discussion. But on the most basic level it simply means that a human life is holy and divine because a human life is G‑d's way of making himself present in our world. Murdering a human being is banishing G‑d from our world.

If you believe in G‑d the way G‑d believes in Himself (is there any other way?) you don't wantonly destroy a human life. If you wantonly destroy a human life you don't believe in G‑d. It's that simple.

G‑d was banished from our world yesterday. And then banished again and again, thirty-three times in succession. It's now our job to bring Him back.

With every good deed, with every kind word, with every positive thought, we bring a bit of G‑dliness into our G‑d-depleted world. And if we do it for the sake of those whose lives were snuffed out yesterday, we resurrect something of the divine spark that was their life, in a small but deeply significant way.

It's the least we can do for them.

Have the Germans done Tshuva?

On the side is a picture of the Monument to the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin. Despite all of the museums and Holocaust memorials in Germany, I want to know, have the German really done Tshuva- repentance? Do the Germans of today deserve blame for the sins of the previous generation?
In Judaism, when somebody sins, they must beg for forgiveness and fast in regret. What has Germany done? Said they're sorry a few times? Build some monuments? I don't want any monument; Hitler, of accursed memory, wanted monuments and museums to the destroyed race of the Jewish People. He planned to turn the Altneu-Shul synagogue in Krakow into a museum about the Jews.
In Germany, there are still many big buildings that used to be synagogues that are now used as opera houses. Jewish property was seized and never returned. If the German people truly want to atone and do tshuva for their role in the genocide of the Holocaust, the German Parliament should declare a national fast day. The Pope himself should declare a fast day in regret for the inaction of Pope Pius XII and the Catholic Church. Most importantly, Germany should be on guard against the modern day Nazis, the Islamofascists. Consider the following alarming example of Sharia uber alles in Deutscheland. Robert Spencer writes: Beaten and threatened with death by her husband, a young Muslim mother of two in Germany petitioned a Frankfurt court for a speedy divorce. German law mandates a year-long waiting period between separation and divorce, but also contains “hardship” criteria that allow for that period to be shortened. However, Judge Christa Datz-Winter decided that this was not a “hardship” case. According to Spiegel Online, Datz-Winter quoted Qur’an 4:34, which says that “men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other,” and that men should punish disobedient women: “admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them.” After all, Datz-Winter pointed out, both husband and wife were Moroccan. Germany must declare support for the inalienable right of the Jews over the entire Land of Israel.
Germany has the responsibility to do tshuva for their role in the Holocaust and to lead the world in the fight against totalitarianism and anti-semitism, most notable in the modern day form of Islamofascism. To do any less is an incomplete tshuva and a disgrace to the memory of the 6 million martyrs.

3 killed in Severe Inner Struggle' (Jihad)

(IsraelNN.com) Terrorists carried out a drive-by shooting attack Tuesday morning, targeting Jews not far from the community of Naaleh, 18 miles east of Tel Aviv and near Ben-Gurion International Airport.

The Magen David Adom emergency service says it treated one victim for moderate shoulder wounds and two others for light wounds caused by shrapnel. The victims have been transported to Tel HaShomer hospital near Tel Aviv.

Police are searching for the shooters, who were able to drive on the road due to the Olmert government’s policy of easing restrictions on PA Arabs.

A Kassam rocket was fired overnight from Northern Gaza toward Sderot. The rocket landed in an open area near the city. No damage or injuries were reported.

An Arab was found carrying a six-inch knife during a routine search on Monday at the Beit Iba checkpoint west of Shechem. The knife was confiscated and its carrier was brought in for interrogation.

The IDF arrested 25 wanted Arab terrorists in Judea and Samaria on Monday night and early Tuesday morning. The suspects are being interrogated by authorities.

The IDF has announced that noise from training exercises may be heard in the south from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Tuesday.

Echoes from the large, controlled aerial explosions may be heard for several miles in the Be’er Sheva region.

The attacks did not act alone but rather were most likely supported by their families and community, a culture that glorifies murder. The entire village should be expelled and the land prepared for Jewish settlement.

Never Again?

Can you tell the difference?

TEL AVIV, Israel, April 15, 2007 (UPI) -- Great Britain, France and Canada saw a sharp rise in anti-Semitic attacks and vandalism last year, a World Holocaust Day report revealed Sunday.
Reported incidents of anti-Semitism rose worldwide -- the highest total number since 2000, said a study by the Stephen Roth Institute for the Study of Anti-Semitism and Racism at Israel's Tel Aviv University.

The report, written with the World Jewish Congress, was released on Sunday to correspond with Holocaust Memorial Day, Haaretz reported.

In all, 590 incidents of violence or vandalism were reported in 2006 against Jews, Jewish property and Jewish institutions, the study said.

In Great Britain, more than 100 Jews were attacked -- the highest number in the 20 years -- while the number of violent incidents in France rose by 45 percent and doubled in Canada.

The report said the attackers primarily were Muslim immigrants and extreme right-wing youths. Anti-Semitic influences in 20006 included Israel's attack on Lebanon and statements by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to deny the Holocaust, said Dina Porat, head of the Roth Institute.

Olmert meets with Holocaust Denier

On the Eve of Holocaust Memorial Day, PM Olmert is meeting with a man who wrote his doctorate denying the Holocaust- PA President Mahmoud Abbas.
According to Artuz-7 news:Abbas wrote his doctorate in 1982 in Moscow, at the Institute for Oriental Studies. The heading of his doctoral thesis was: "Zionist Leadership and the Nazis." The introduction dealt with, among other topics, "the secret ties between the Nazis and the Zionist movement leadership." It further raised doubts that gas chambers were used to kill the Jews. He argued that the gas chambers were not used to kill people, but only to disinfect them and burn bodies to prevent disease.

Abbas's dissertation was adapted into a book and published in Jordan in 1984. Journalist David Bedein noted that the book is currently in use in the Palestinian Authority education system, under the direct control of the PA chairman.

Abbas claimed in his work that the Zionist leadership was interested in convincing the world that a large number of Jews were killed during the war in order to "attain larger gains" after the war and to "divide the booty." His primary claim is that the Zionist movement and its various branches worked hand-in-hand with the Nazis against the Jewish people, collaborating with them for the Jews' destruction, because the Zionist leaders viewed "Palestine" as the only legitimate place for Jewish immigration.

The meeting between the Israeli leaders and Abbas took place at the Prime Minister's official residence in Jerusalem and dealt with security-related issues. Abu Mazen (Abbas) brought to the meeting a list of demands to ease security measures and more restrictions that were established to prevent terrorists from infiltrating Israel.

PA Hamas officials said that these talks were on the agenda for the sole purpose of pleasing US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and that nothing good will come out of them.

Likud Party officials charged that the Olmert administration is a "dying government" that has no mandate to launch diplomatic negotiations with the PA because it "has long since lost the public's trust."

A "Peace Index" poll published by two Tel Aviv University professors on Sunday showed that 72 percent of the public does not trust Prime Minister Olmert to conduct negotiations for a comprehensive solution of the conflict with the PA.

Yom Hashoah

Tommorow night is Yom Hashoah- Holocaust Rememberance Day. The date corresponds to the 29th day of the Hebrew month of Nissan when the Jews of the Warsaw Ghetto refused to board the trains to the death camps and fought against the Nazis. The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising took longer to pacify than it took the Nazis to conquer all of France. Please light a Yarzheit (Rememberance) candle in memory of the 6 million martyred men, women and children, the thousands of Jewish communities, third of world Jewry, 50% of European Jewry and 90% of Eastern European Jewry that was wiped out.
The greatest thing that we can do in memory of the 6 million is to speak out against the silence that allowed the Shoah to take place. Never Again? We are silent as Iran builds an atomic bomb with the purpose of 'wiping Israel off the map', when Hamas calls for the death of the Jews. When Hitler, may his memory be bloted out, threatened the Jews, it was dismissed as a 'Jewish Problem'- that is until he attacked the world. Hamas and Iran are just Jewish Problems, until they will attacks the world.
Let us remember the song that thousands of Jews perished in the gas chambers of Aushwitz and Treblinka singing: Ani Maamin- I believe.
I believe with perfect faith in the coming of the Messiah and even though he may tarry I will await him every day until he arrives.
May their souls rest in peace under the wings of the Dinvine Shechina Presence and may they be bound up in the bonds of Eternal Life. Amen.
